Naraka: Bladepoint reaches 40 million users
During the latest seasonal earnings conference, NetEase CEO William Ding announced that Naraka Bladepoint has now reached 40 million unique players across all platforms. This impressive milestone is thanks to the constant updates, such as the recent addition of the hero Hadi Ismail and the Fan weapon. Additionally, the game's active esports scene is gathering momentum, with the World Championship offering a shot at a massive prize pool of 1.5 million USD next month.
The melee-focused battle royale continues to provide fans with a vast array of content as their player count reaches a new record high.
The game owes much of its success to the strong bond it has with its community, which has kept the legendary competition alive for 10 seasons. In a recent collaboration, one-handed gamer JesseLHV partnered with Naraka's development team and the engineering team at Hacksmith Industries to design a prosthetic arm inspired by the one worn by the hero Hadi in the game.
Naraka Fest is also returning. Fans should mark their calendars for December 19, 2023. This is when the next showcase will take place, and it promises to reveal all the latest updates planned for the game in 2024. Be sure to keep an eye on the Naraka channels, as more details about the event will be shared soon.
Naraka Bladepoint is free to play and is available now on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and mobile devices.
