Diablo Immortal announced that its latest update, Splintered Souls, will be released on December 14, 2023.
According to Blizzard, the new patch comes with several updates, including new Familiars, a new zone called The Southern Dreadlands, a new quest line and event, and five new Helliquary bosses. Check out more details below.

Familiars
As players journey through Sanctuary, they will be joined by loyal companions called Familiars. These allies provide their own additional bonuses and utilities to help players succeed.

The Southern Dreadlands
The story of Immortal centers around the Southern Dreadlands, which were transformed into an apocalyptic plane after Tyrael destroyed the corrupted Worldstone. The main quest of the zone will lead you to the Gray Wards' expanding encampment, the interior of Staalbreak, and the bottom of the ravines created by the destruction of Mount Arreat.
Sentinel's Stand
Join the tower defense-styled zone event and defend the wilds of the Dreadlands. It's essential to safeguard this area against any potential threats.
5 New Helliquary Bosses
These bosses can be encountered across three new Inferno Difficulties: IV, V, and VI. To unlock Inferno Difficulty IV, you must defeat Saarodan, Sky-Sunderer on Inferno Difficulty III and be at least Paragon Level 1100.
